How Skworm Library works

What books are here?

More than 60,000 free classic books from Project Gutenberg, the oldest digital library: Sherlock Holmes, Pride and Prejudice, Frankenstein, Tom Sawyer, Alice in Wonderland, fairy tales, poetry, history and more. These books are in the public domain in the United States, so they are free for everyone.

Can it read to me?

Yes. Open any book and press 🔊 Read aloud. A natural American voice reads the pages to you and turns them as it goes. You can pause, change the speed, or pick another voice. It is made for anyone who finds small print hard to see, has tired eyes, or simply likes listening.

Is it easy to read?

Every book opens as a real-looking book with big, clear print and pages that curl and turn like paper: two pages side by side on a computer, one page at a time on a phone. Skworm remembers your page, so you can come back later and keep reading.

Is it private?

Yes. There are no ads, no accounts and no tracking. Books and covers come through Skworm's own server, and the reading voice is made live on Alien Soft's own computer and is not saved.
